Market Forces is a competitive trading card game where players take on the role of investors navigating an ever-changing financial landscape. Build your portfolio, deploy strategies, and react to market events — the player who generates the highest returns each round accumulates Wealth Units and wins.
Each round is a dynamic market cycle. Deploy Strategies before the market moves. React with Tactics after it's revealed. Play cards like Regulatory Insight, Liquidity Wave, and Forced Rebalance to shape outcomes in your favor — and outmaneuver your opponent before results are finalized.
Each player selects an Investor card at the start — your character for the game. Investors provide passive or triggered abilities that define your playstyle throughout the match.
A shared Market Movement card is revealed each round, determining which sectors gain or lose value. Every Investment's performance depends on which sectors it touches — and what the market does.
Strategies are played before the market moves to shape your position. Tactics are played after the reveal to alter performance before results lock in. Knowing when to use each is everything.
Any card can be placed face-down as a Liquidity Token — your in-game currency. Tap Liquidity to pay for Investments and Strategies. Managing your liquid position is as important as your portfolio.
Each round, the player with the higher Net Return wins and gains Wealth Units. First to the target — 10, 15, 20, or custom — wins the game. Sell smart to bank extra Wealth or rebuild Liquidity.
